The project I am currently pursuing is a complex conceptual and autobiographical investigation of gender representation, power, control and sexuality. Examining the construction of femininity and masculinity and their dependency on one other, which against they can be defined.
Venus 2008
The series is to address the enduring construction of beauty and the transformed image of the ideal body that we are oversaturated with by today's media representation of the female nude.
Portraits 2005-2010
As Avedon once put it, "what rights do Cezanne's apples have to tell Cezanne how to paint them?" Indeed the photographic portrait is simply a record of the physical appearance of the subject. And what most often reflects of that surface is the photographer himself.
Identypes 2007
Street portraits of London, that are dealing with the notions of identity and stereotypes. In such multicultural cities, there is an increased demand to identify with social, cultural or religious groups. Examining the power of the photographic representation as social influence and its possibility in changing our perception.

London Landscapes, representing one's personal space within the public, tailored to individual needs of space to withdraw, to self reflect or simply connect with what manmade nature can offer.
